ICLW

Hello and welcome to ICLW!
A little bit about myself - I am a mother to an almost two year old. Every night I look at her amazed, can't believe I am a mother, can't believe that wonderful "thing" is my daughter!
I am now in the early stages of going after number two. [a little rant - today I had my appointment with "breast doctor" to get the okay to start treatments. I then continued to do a little grocery shopping, and then home. I don't know if I failed to put in his approval (together with some test results I showed him) or if it fell out in the shop, but I don't have it and I need it! I hope they can fax it]
Next week I [finally!] have an appointment at the hospital (fertility) and am starting to get excited! I am pondering if to mention the fact that I am still breastfeeding and would like to continue (a big reason why I waited till now to start T42 is breastfeeding, nevertheless I'd like to continue) or to keep quite about it.
Oh and one day I will have (again) a dog! (just probably not just now).

I'm very certain they can fax his report in to the fertility clinic. So I'm assuming this means that the breast doc gave the okay? I hope your journey to number two hits very few road blocks!

So glad you got the go-ahead from the boob guy!

Are you going to do natural cycles, or take meds? Because if you're taking meds, you should probably let them know. My RE was pretty sure the hormones of breast feeding would keep the fertility drugs from working. If you're med free, and you're sure you're ovulating, I don't think they need to know. :)

Thanks for the comment on my blog (about nanny/daycare, etc). That option of Liam going to daycare while the twins stay with a nanny is definitely one of our options. We just need to figure out everything money-wise.

Good luck trying for #2!

Good luck with #2. If you are using meds, you will probably have to wean before you can take them, as most are not safe for a breastfeeding mother to take since they cross the milk barrier. If you are doing natural cycles and already cycling on your own, they might be able to let you cycle.

I am new to your blog but wanted to wish you the best with TTC #2. I read your blog post from the other day and we too are dealing with biting & hitting. I think we know the cause but have not figured out how to stop it yet. It is going to be a challenge!
